Pembunuhan berantai tersaji dalam film The Raven.Kisah bermula dari pembunuhan sadis terhadap seorang gadis yang menghebohkan.Setelah diselidiki,ternyata pembunuhan tersebut membuka tirai pembunuhan dengan motif dan pola yang mirip.

Seorang detektif bernama EMMET menemukan bahwa perjalanan seorang pembunuh ini didasarkan pada novel karya Edgar Allan Poe.Awalnya,yang polisi menduga bahwa sang novelis yang diperankan Jhon Cussack inilah pembunuhnya.Tetapi tuduhan tak terbukti.

Detektif Emmet mengajak kerjasama dengan Edgar untuk menangkap si pembunuh.Menariknya dalam film ini,bagaimana Edgar terlebih dahulu mengetahui sang pembunuh misterius ini.Ini terjadi karena target si pembunuh dalam film the raven ini mengancam gadis pujaan Edgar.
